Sydney's Silly Party

Sydney turned 5 on April 1st. We decided to have a Silly Picnic. All her friends wore silly clothes, had silly hair and made silly hats. The weather was supposed to be bad, but it turned out to be a beautiful day at the park. I can't believe Sydney is 5!!!. It seems so much older than 4. Pretty soon she'll be in Kindergarten.

House Remodel (again)

When we bought our house, the garage ceiling was drooping really bad and we had been meaning to fix it. We decided to add a bedroom in the garage to "lift" the ceiling instead of replacing it. So.... Cody got his own room. We extended the entry from the garage to the laundry room to allow for Cody's door. As you can see, Cody's "new" room is already a mess. That's Cody!!!

Date with Sydney

Brandon and I took Sydney to see Disney on Ice. She waited and waited for the Princesses to come out on skates but they never did. They were only in the hallway to wave at. Oh well, she had so much fun. Of course she had to have the Tinkerbell snow cone/souvenier cup and Mickey Mouse popcorn. That's where we drew the line.

Sledding

For years we've been promising the kids we'd take them up to Mt. Charleston to play in the snow. Finally, we went. Sydney loved it. She's posing with our snowman. We got this kit from our Secret Santa and it turned out cute.
Dallin catching air down a hill. Brandon did the same ride after and hit the ground really hard. So hard he broke 2 ribs. I tried to tell him he was too old for the kid stuff, but he didn't listen.
Mason and Sydney taking a ride. It's amazing how hard they work climbing back up the hills to fly down again.

Cecil Family Crazy Christmas

The little kids digging in. We have so many family members that we have to hold our parties at the church.
Sydney and Brynlee got matching Tinkerbell backpacks. They are only a few months apart in age and they play great together. They were soooooo excited.
The kids had to wait patiently for Grandpa to pass out gifts. With 17 kids there, they had to wait awhile.

Christmas Morning

Mason's marshmallow bow and arrow. Oops, that was messy.
Stylin' in Fox gear. This was a big hit this year.
Cody's Fox hat and Tony Hawk Ride. (Not all that is was cracked up to be.)
Sydney got a slew of Princesses. It's now February and they are still keeping her occupied.

This was our first Christmas at our new house. The front room worked perfectly for the tree and opening presents. This was a great Christmas

Kephart Holidays

Pic of the Kephart kids at Christmas and Thanksgiving. It's not often that the Kephart cousins are together for holidays. The bottom one is Thanksgiving and the top two are Christmas. Another girl cousin was born last week and two more are expected this summer. So much fun!!

Cody's 10th Birthday

For Cody's 10th birthday, he had a "campout". We set up our large tent in the backyard, handed out flashlights and glow sticks, and built a campfire. The boys watched a movie in the tent, ate lots of candy, then crashed. We had a big breakfast and sent them all home. It sounds like a crazy night, but it was a lot of fun and I'm sure Cody will never forget that birthday.
