A Day In The Life
Random Pictures of our life.
The kids talked me into getting Wilson a mohawk.
I found these pictures on my camera. Couch flipping?
Here is one sad ballerina. For some reason, Sydney loves to wear her leotards and tutus all the time. When she was grumpy, I had to snap a picture.

Flashback Fun
Thanks Jordon! This is a fun tag. I didn't want to wait til "Flashback Friday" so I'll do it today. It was hard to decide which pics to post. Here's the winners.
First up....Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, 1987??? Since my dad was the Bishop, our family got to spend a week here. My sis Becky and I shared these lovely accomodations. She hated every minute we were there. I thought it was alright. My mom had a 6 week old baby (Tyler) in the next tent. What a trooper!!
Next is my first day of Junior High School. Becky was in 8th grade and her status at school shows in the height of her bangs. Our outfits were GREAT! I kind of look like a candy cane. White pants? What was I thinking.
My brother Todd and I on our Church History Tour in the summer of 1993. We spent many hours on that fine bus.
Last, but not least, Brandon and I before Prom 1993. He was a college guy! My mom and I made that dress. She let me show some shoulders :0

House Update
It's coming along! We ended up changing more than we thought we would, but it is going to be amazing. First, is the old formal dining room, which now will be the office and pantry.
Here's the hall bathroom, which will be half guest bath, half kids bath.
And here is the kitchen. Brandon framed a new arched eating bar. There is another arch next to it, and beyond the bar is the playroom.
I know it still looks rough, but we can see the finished product and it will be great.

What is it with Edward?

I have to admit I have a new found love for the Twilight series. I saw the movie about a month ago (without having read the book) and LOVED IT! I decided to read the 2nd book, then the 3rd and the 4th (all within a few weeks). I know...my family thought I was crazy. I've never been a reader, but I really enjoy it now. I even spent some time (and money) at Barnes & Noble getting more books to read.
Anyways....It just dawned on me that "Edward" is the leading man in 5 of my favorite movies.
Pretty Woman - Edward Lewis
Enchanted - Prince Edward
Prince and Me -Edvard, Prince of Denmark
Twilight - Edward Cullen
Sense & Sensibility - Edward Ferrars
I don't really like the name, but it sure is used alot. It is really wierd!!!
New Years Party
Here's how we celebrated New Year's Eve.

*Jack in the Box chicken sandwiches
* Sparkling juice
*Paper cups
*Flood light
*Stack of 2x4's

Brandon and Mason were working away at the new house, so the rest of us joined them in the Gathering Room for a New Year's Eve dinner. Fun, huh!
